Sila plans US factory for battery materials

US company Sila Nanotechnologies has acquired a 56,000 square meter facility in Washington. The Californian producer of next-generation battery components wants to produce battery-quality anode materials in the plant. The hydroelectric plant is expected to produce enough material for a factory with a capacity of up to 50 gigawatt hours.
